Springburn Childcare is divided into four rooms. Within the nursery, we have a baby room known and Bunnies, and two toddler rooms, Little Badgers, and Big Badgers. Also on site is Springburn Pre-School for children ages from three years old, until school age.
Springburn believes in encouraging the children to have an understanding of the rural community in which they live. The children are encouraged to explore the natural spaces, investing the wildlife areas, learning about insect habitats, ladybird houses and keeping and special eye on the bird box which has a camera fitted.

The children within Pre-School have wildlife and gardening sessions, we encourage the children to have an understanding about the need to provide habitats for bees and other pollinators, hedgerows for the smaller birds and wildlife and how we can do our small part for where we live. We try to incorporate the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, watching our own birdbox which has a camera fitted, BBOWT (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Wildlife Trust) advice for encouraging natural wildlife areas, what to plant and when, along with planting to encourage lots of bees and butterflies too.
